I love to work with clay!  It has been part of my life ever since grade school, when we were given a lump of clay in art class.  I became fascinated by the transformation that clay and glaze make when exposed to extreme heat in a kiln.  I enjoy the process of forming clay on the potter’s wheel and get great satisfaction from creating functional and decorative objects that can be incorporated into everyday life. I am drawn to flowing glazes and surfaces which highlight the vessels’ form.  I am always experimenting with new forms and surfaces; improvisation guides my practice.
